7th Annual Back-2-School Giveaway

For the seventh consecutive year, The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation will be joined by Mayweather Promotions’ fighters to provide more than 1,000 underprivileged youth from grades K-12 in the local community with backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.

The Back-2-School Giveaway is designed to support the Las Vegas community in helping prepare students, as we approach the upcoming 2019/2020 school year. In addition to each student receiving a backpack with grade appropriate school supplies and a book, the event will also feature lunch for all children in attendance, raffles, complimentary eye exams provided by Eye Care 4 Kids mobile services, arts and crafts activities, Horizon Tutoring Services will be providing information on their services, and Discovery Children’s Museum will be offering an exciting craft activity! Students in grades 5-12 are encouraged to bring their local library card for a chance to win a brand-new laptop and printer. Over the course of 7 years, many students in the Las Vegas Valley have benefitted from the combined efforts of our community to make this event possible!

Eye Care 4 Kids mobile services will be joining us at this year’s event and will be providing eye exams for children on a first-come-first-serve basis. They will also be providing information regarding their eye exam locations throughout the valley and scheduling appointments.

Directions to location:

Please turn in off Lone Mountain. Pass the main office and two dog parks. Pass two round a bouts and it will be on your left hand side, “Adventure Lodge”.
