WHAT: Floyd Mayweather, who has been feeding the homeless weekly for the past several months, will make an extra effort of giving this Saturday when he serves a Thanksgiving hot meal to 250 people. Each individually wrapped plate will include turkey, rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, string beans, pumpkin pie, water and tea.
“After seeing these people on the street for the past several months, there is absolutely no way I could sit down with my whole family for Thanksgiving dinner without knowing they had been fed too,” said Mayweather. “It is God’s great gift to help those in need and I am in a position to be able to give back. I am hoping this hot meal will help them think about what it could be like if they were willing to help themselves.”
*Please note this is the first of many charity activities leading into the holiday season.
